Free Freight

There are no freight charges for new outboards we sell and ship within the 48 contiguous United States (excludes Alaska and Hawaii). No gimmicks, just free freight! We can ship to Alaska and Hawaii for an additional charge. Sorry, we do not ship international.

We guarantee hassle free returns on all, uninstalled items, in original packaging.

Return Policy

The item must be uninstalled, unused, in resalable condition (except for goods damaged during shipment to you), in original packaging, and complete with all tags and manuals. Make sure to follow all the directions in the Return Process outlined above. Returns must be completed within 30 days of receipt of the order. After 30 days the manufacture of the product(s) will need to be contacted for a warranty claim. If you need assistance finding the manufacturer’s number please contact us. If you have any questions about our return policy, please call us and we will evaluate your particular situation. We will do everything we can to make sure that you are satisfied with your purchase and your experience with tohatsudirect.com (Plateau Marine). Although we are an authorized dealer for Mercury, Tohatsu, Honda, and Suzuki, all sales are made directly by Plateau Marine. The terms and conditions listed in our return policy are those of Plateau Marine, and not by any manufacturer. We provide our own facilities and customer service department to address and resolve all product exchanges, refunds, or return requirements.

Return Process

    1. Call us at 931-650-4122 and have your order number ready.
    2. We will review your request and if you meet the required conditions, we will email you a prepaid return label for your package.
    3. Carefully package the item, taking care to include all of its tags, bags, and manuals. Please be sure not to write on or damage the manufacturer’s packaging material, as this can make an item not returnable.
    4. Please be sure to use the return label we have provided to you. Ship your package in it’s original box.
    5. Once we receive your package, we will inspect your returned items to ensure they meet the guidelines. If the item and packaging are in resalable condition, we will process your refund back to the original payment method.

Refunds

    • Refunds will be issued back to the original method of payment.
    • Please allow 7-10 business days for refunds to be processed following receipt of your return.
    • Please call 931-650-4122 with any questions regarding the status of your return. Be sure to have your order number ready.

Damaged Shipments

Damaged packages are the responsibility of the delivering carrier. If you receive a damaged package, save the box and all packaging material and call us within 48 hours of receiving the shipment. If possible, annotate the damaged packaging with the delivering carrier.
